Messaging Out-of-School Time - February 1, 2008 Youth Community Connections was pleased to partner with the Minnesota School-Age Care Alliance at the 21st Annual Minnesota School-Age Care Alliance Conference on Feb. 1, 2008 at the St. Paul RiverCentre. YCC partnered with MnSACA and presented a luncheon keynote panel focusing on "Messaging Out-of-School Time." the panel examined ways we can promote the OST message to families, schools, legislators, and general public. Judy Nee of the National AfterSchool Association; Janelle Cousino of Afterschool Alliance; and Glynis Shea of the Konopka Institute at the University of Minnesota were the guest panelists that looked at how we can frame the work we do to be effective, how we communicate our message, and how the OST message is being communicated nationally.
